WEEK 3: CULTIVATING AND CIRCULATING SEXUAL ENERGY
This week, we will introduce an ancient breath practice that has been used by yogis for centuries as a foundation to sexual yoga. It is a great practice to do before and during sex, as you will open your body and increase your capacity to create pleasure through the cultivation and circulation of subtle energy. You will revisit this breath practice in Week 6 with a feminine practice partner.
Do this practice every day in Week 3.
Week 3 Video: Three-Part Breath Practice
This three-part breath practice opens your body while cultivating sexual energy. It combines a deep inhale that fills the belly, solar plexus and upper chest; a hold, in which the energy is packed into the center of the body (This is called “qi packing”); and an exhale, in which the energy is released out through the top of the head. The breath becomes wave-like and opens the front channel of your body, so that you can enliven and energize your feeling-body.
