Applying Masculine and Feminine Principles to Your Business
In this video from the 2020 Advanced Practice Group, John describes how Masculine and Feminine principles apply in business and why the practice of cultivating both will bring success to any offering.
You’ll learn:
The container and structure of your business is the Masculine—this includes your logo, images, email signature, website copy, office space, email campaign, the software that you use on the backend, the way that you book calls, the blocks of hours that you work etc.
The structure holds your offering, so most of the time, when a business is not thriving, it’s a structure or container issue
The offering itself is the Feminine—your talent, your skill, your practice, the flow of energy, the flow of money, the flow of clients etc.
If your offering doesn’t have a meticulous structure to flow into, it will be diffuse
There are two parallel tracks to deepening a business: 1. cultivate and hone your skill, practice, and offering; 2. tighten and become more meticulous with your structure
More often than not, we have strength in one or the other—for example, we might have poor structure and be floundering around with a great offering, or we have a strong structure, but our skill is shallow
Both of these tracks need to be cultivated in order to maintain success and longevity in business
